Express FC advanced to the Stanbic Uganda Cup Quarterfinals after thrashing Paidha Black Angels 4-0 at the Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku on Wednesday in the round of 16 game.
The Red Eagles prevailed to the last eight courtesy of goals from Faisal Ssekyanzi, Anwar Ntege and a brace from Boban Zirintusa.
Ssekyanzi gave the home side an early lead before Zirintusa doubled their advantage.
Zirintusa made it 3-0 at the stroke of halftime to give James Odoch’s coached side a comfortable lead.
Ntege put the cherry on the icing of the cake with a sensational strike early in the second half.
The 10 time competition winners join Vipers SC, Bright Stars and BUL FC who edged Onduparaka into the Quarterfinals.
