Vipers SC head coach Alex Isabirye Musongola is optimistic that his side will put up a great performance in their CAF Champions league group game against Raja Casablanca on Saturday evening at Kitende.

The Kitende based side will be seeking revenge against the Moroccan giants prevailed 5-0 in the first meeting between the two sides in Casablanca last month.

“I am a competitor, I don’t participate, and if you’re a competitor you have to be at your absolute best no matter the situation and the opponent you’re facing.”

“In the few days I have been here, I have tried to work on improving their confidence, and I know that they are a good group,” Isabirye told Vipers media

Raja Casablanca have won all their four group games this campaign and currently top the group with 12 points.

The Venoms are yet to win a competitive game this year. They have drawn five and lost three in the eight games across all competitions.

In the CAF Champions group stage, the Venoms have one point in four games.

Isabirye’s charges will be without defender Murushid Juuko, Karim Watambala, Marvin Youngman and Milton Karisa.
