Tanzania showed chasm in quality as second half substitute Simon Msuva’s 68th minute goal earned new coach Adel Amrouche maximum points over Uganda Cranes at the Suez Canal Authority Stadium in Ismailia on Friday evening.

A dismal performance consigned Cranes to a 1-0 defeat by the Tanzania in Ismailia, their second defeat in Group F AFCON 2023 qualifying games.

Uganda could have gone second in the group with a win, but the chasm between them and the Taifa Stars was enormous as the hosts put in another low-grade display that will put pressure back on head coach Milutin Sredojevic.

The heat is back on coach Micho

The Cranes resembled a drunk bloke at the end of a night looking for a fight.

The heat is back on Uganda and Micho as they sit bottom of group F with just a single point.

Meanwhile, victory takes the Taifa Stars into second position with 4 points in three games.

The two sides will next face off on Tuesday, 28th in Dar Es Salaam.
