Wakiso District Football Schools Championship will kick off on Tuesday 28th March in Entebbe with 24 schools taking part
SMACK, Kisubi Seminary Kisubi Mapeera and Kisubi Technical are the four venues that will host the games.
Wakiso district is made of seven zones namely; Nsangi, Naddangira, Aggrey, Kitende, Bweyogerere, Wampewo and Entebbe.
St Mary’s Kitende is the district defending champion as well as the national champions.
At the end of the Championship that is expected to climax on Saturday 1st April, five schools will represent thee district in the USSSA nationals that will be played in Fort Portal come May.
Group A
Buddo SS, Boston High School, Madinah Islami, Greenlight Nansana, Kinawa High School, City Land College Matugga
Group B
Royal College Bulaga, St Julian High School Gayaza, K Garden Groove Kitemu, Namugongo Vocational and Secondary School, Kisubi Mapeera, Kyadondo SS.
Group C
Standard High School Zzana, Lake View Church of Uganda Kitinda, Kawanda SS, Andy Mwesigwa SS, Kasule High School, Wampewo Ntake SS
Group D
St Mary’s Kitende, London College Nansana, Aiden College Ndejje, Abu Aisha, Light High School Sseguku.
