Mbabazi and two others lined up for BUL FC coaching role

Stanbic Uganda Cup holders BUL FC’s search for a new head is now well underway.

Swift Sports Uganda understands BUL are stepping up their search for a new head coach and that Arua Hill head coach Livingstone Mbabazi was interviewed earlier last week.

According to sources Mbabazi is the front-runner for the position and there has been positive noise surrounding him regarding the role. He is under contract at Arua Hill.

BUL FC also remain open-minded to all candidates as they continue the process of appointing a new manager to succeed coach Alex Isabirye who joined Vipers SC midway into the season.

The other two names are understood to be admired at the Jinja based side are Mike Mutebi and current Gaddafi FC tactician Wasswa Bbosa are all candidates that are being actively considered.

BUL FC are under the stewardship of interim coach Simeon Masaba.

The Jinja based are fourth placed on the Uganda Premier league table with 30 points they have garnered in 21 games.

They are currently preparing for the Stanbic Uganda Cup Quarterfinal tie against Police FC at Kavumba
