Maroons aim to aggravate Blacks Power relegation woes

Maroons FC will seek vengeance when they visit relegation threatened Blacks Power on Tuesday 18th April at Aki Bua Stadium in Lira.

Blacks Power FC won the first leg in Luzira 3-1 which was also their first victory in the Uganda Premier League.

Simon Peter Otto, Micheal Siwu and Dickens Okwir scored each for Hussein Mbalangu’s coached side in Luzira.

Solomon Walusimbi scored the Prison Warders’ consolation goal.

The Lira based side sit second last on the Uganda Premier League table with 16 points from 21 games.

Maroons have played 20 games and managed to collect 27 points occupying eighth position on the table.

The visitors will negotiate this fixture without Belmos Opio, Musa Ssali and David Ndihabwe due to injuries.

In case of victory, the visitors will remain in the relegation zone since they are 22 points below Busoga United in the 13th position.
