The management team of Busujju Ssaza has appointed Allan Kabonge Kivewala alias “The Messiah” as their head coach for the 2023 Masaza Cup tournament.
Kabonge replaces Micheal Bukenya who was in charge of Busujju during the previous edition of the prestigious competition.
Bukenya crossed over to three time winners Mawokota.
Kabonge is known for guiding clubs such as Masavu, Paidha Black Angels, Onduparaka and Aurum Roses to the topflight division of Ugandan football.
He has previously managed Buwekula Ssaza team in the Masaza Cup competition.
Kabonge has also previously coached and guided Mmamba Ggabunga in Bika Bya Buganda football.
Kabonge is a former U-23 player and also featured for Express FC and Victors.
Busujju has never won the Masaza cup title. They are in Bulange Group alongside Ssingo, Bulemeezi, Butambala, Buvuma and Bugerere.
