KCCA beat SC Villa 3-0 in the first round at the John Akii Bua stadium in Lira but the Jogoos are enjoying a better run of form and they will hope to return the favour when they visit KCCA at Lugogo.

The Kasasiro boys are struggling for form having failed to win a match in their previous five outings, Villa on the other hand have won 5 of their previous six.

They come into this fixture on the back of losing to Arua Hill at Wankulukuku.

KCCA will have a new man in the dugout, Jackson Mayanja was appointed late this week to take over from Morley Byekwaso on interim basis.

Villa are leading the table with 43 points and would love to stretch their cushion to eight points with victory over their nemesis.

KCCA also have a chance to revive their title hopes and only victory can guarantee that.

HEAD TO HEAD

Out of the last 24 games played, KCCA have won 11 with Villa only managing 3 and 10 have ended in stalemate.

Faisal Wabyona, Usama Arafat and John Revita are all out of the tie but Jackson Mayanja has been boosted by the return to full fitness of Filbert Obenchan, Brian Majwega, Haruna Lukwago and Dominic Ayella

Villa are sweating on the fitness of winger Jonah Patrick Kakande who limped off during the defeat to Arua Hill, he may require a late fitness assessment.

Kalule Frank Muna scorer of the late goal against Busoga United will not take part in today’s derby and so is the mercurial David Owori.

Owori was also stretchered off early in the defeat to Arua Hill.
