Kawempe Muslim continued with their winning form after coming from a goal down to defeat rivals Uganda Martyrs 3-1 at Lubaga.
Usual suspects Shakira Nyinagahirwa and Hadijah Nandago were on target while Phiona Nabulime grabbed the other.
Uganda Martyrs drew first blood at the stroke of first half through Angel Auki Kigongo who capitalized on a howler from goalkeeper Juliet Adeke to tap in from close range.
Kawempe equalized through Nabulime’s wonder strike from outside the box in the 52nd minute.
Nandago then grabbed the lead eight minutes later with a free header from Nyinagahirwa’s wonderful spadework. The game was also her eighth of the season.
