Young Africans have been boosted by the timely return of midfielder Khalid Aucho ahead of their second leg encounter against Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Confederation League quarter finals tonight.
Aucho has been sidelined for about three weeks by a minor injury he picked in Yanga’s final group game against Al Ahly in Cairo early last month.
The Cranes midfielder subsequently missed Uganda’s friendly games against Ghana and Comoros in the recently concluded international break.
Aucho has played an integral role in Yanga’s Champions League campaign this season but was absent in Yanga’s first leg 0-0 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns in Dar es Salaam last weekend.
