The Uganda premier league secretariate has announced that SC Villa’s match against Blacks Power will be played at a later date.
Villa were supposed to play against Blacks Power on the 9th of May but in a bid to avoid result predetermination, the match has been pushed forward.
The Jogoos have played two more games than second placed Vipers and one more than third placed KCCA FC.
“In the spirit of fair play and equal opportunity, the UPL Secretariat has made the following adjustments to ensure the last three matches involving KCCA, Villa and Vipers SC are played on the same day”.

Thus, Villa vs Blacks Power has been pushed from Tuesday 9th May 2023 to 23rd May 2023.
Another affected match is Blacks Power’s visit to Onduparaka that has been brought back from 20th March to March 19th 2023.
Currently, Villa top the log with 46 points from 25 league games. Vipers and KCCA follow suit with 45 points apiece but with 2 and 1 points less respectively.
