The organisers of the Pilsner monthly awards have revealed the winners for the month of April at the event that held at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo.
Express FC head coach James Odoch and Villa forward Charles Bbaale were named coach and player of the month.
Odoch guided the Red Eagles to two wins and two draws in the four games they played in month of April.
He beat SC Villa head coach Jackson Magera Kaddu who had won the previous two coach of the month accolades and Vipers’ Alex Isabirye to the gong.
For player of the month, in form Charles Bbaale (SC Villa) won the accolade following his performances in the month of April.
He scored five goals in five games he played in the month to beat Innocent Media (Arua Hill) and Shariph Kimbowa (Wakiso Giants).
The winners were each rewarded with Shs1M and a plaque courtesy of main sponsors Pilsner lager.
