Ssese confirm home venue for 2023 Masaza Cup tourney

The Management of Ssese Ssaza has confirmed Lutoboka playground as their home ground for 2023 Masaza Cup competition.

During the 2022 edition, Ssese hosted their home games at Kasekulo playground.

They will return to Lutoboka playground during this year’s championship.

Ssese have also retained former Uganda Cranes left back Abubaker Tabula as their new head coach.

They failed to progress to the knockout phase last year with their campaign ending at the group stage.

Ssese’s best performances in the competition came in 2007 and 2008 reaching the Semifinal stage at both occasions under the stewardship of Fred Kasekende.

They are in Muganzirwa Group alongside Gomba, holders Busiro, three time winners Mawokota, Mawogola and Kabula.
