Uganda Premier league sides URA FC and Kitara FC are interested in signing Sunrise forward Pius Wangi.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Wangi is currently a free agent after expiration of his employment contract at Rwanda based side Sunrise.
Besides URA FC and Kitara, Rwanda Premier league side Musanze is also interested in Wangi’s signature.
Wangi joined Sunrise from SC Villa during the 2019/20 season and has featured for the side for the last four seasons.
He has previously featured for Vipers SC where he won the 2017/18 Uganda Premier league title and 2016 Uganda Cup trophy before he joined SC Villa.
Wangi also played for St.Mary’s Secondary School Kitende in various schools Championships.
Meanwhile, Sunrise finished in 11th placed on the Rwanda Premier league log with 34 points garnered in 30 games.
