Uganda Premier league record champions SC Villa have identified Serbian tactician
Dusan Stojanovic as Jackson Magera’s replacement.

Magera and his assistant Ibrahim Kirya were relieved of their services at the 16 time Uganda Premier league champions.

Goalkeeping coach Mukasa Kiyenje and Team manager Sulait Makumbi are the others who were shown the exit.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that current Uganda coach Milutin Sredojevic alias Micho convinced his fellow country man Stojanovic to take over at Villa.

Stojanovic was Micho’s assistant at Egyptian side Zamalek and Zambia national side.

The Serbian tactician will be assisted by former KCCA FC head coach Morley Byekwaso.

Stojanovic becomes the sixth foreign tactician to manage at the club, others are Englishman Geoff Hudson, Serbia’s Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic, Serbian Zivojnov Srdjan, Spanish Antonio Flores and Greek coach Petros Koukouras.

Last season, SC Villa came close to securing their first league title in 19 years but collapsed on the final day when they suffered defeat to URA FC, surrendering the title to Vipers.
