Express FC set to name new Club Chairman

Seven time Uganda Premier league champions Express FC are set to name Suubi Kiwanuka as their new chairman.

Suubi will replace his brother Kiryowa Kiwanuka who has served in the role since August 2018.

Kiryowa replaced Hassan Bulwadda at the start of the 2018/19 season.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Kiryowa who also serves as the Attorney General decided to step aside due to his busy schedule.

Suubi just like his elder brother is born and bred Express FC and has been serving as the Club’s Board Secretary.

For starters, Express FC was founded in 1957 by Jolly Joe Kiwanuka, the grandfather of Kiryowa and Suubi.

Suubi is a Communications Professional has previously headed the Uganda Media Centre International Relations Department. He has served as Inaugural Chairman of 86BR Ltd, is a Director 3D Services Ltd and also served as Membership Secretary Entebbe Club. Being an avid golfer, he takes over at Express with a passion for Sports and an understanding of club management.
