Uganda Cranes midfielder Shafiq Kuchi Kagimu has left newly crowned Kenyan champions Gor Mahia after his four month contract expired.
Kagimu is expected to complete his long awaited move to North Macedonia club FK Rabotnicki.

The former URA FC captain joined Gor Mahia on a short four month contract in March this year and played an integral part as the Johnathan McKinstry coached side raced towards their record extending 20th league title.

He will be the second Ugandan player in the North Macedonia topflight league after Cranes defender Halid Lwaliwa who features for FK Bregalnica Stip.
Kagimu’s next destination FK Rabotnicki is one of the historical clubs in North Macedonia having won a total of 10 league titles.
FK Rabotnicki won six titles before the Macedonian independence and won the other four titles after the historic 1992 independence.
Last season, FK Rabotnicki finished 8th on the 12- team table with 37 points from 30 games played and will certainly be targeting a better finish in the 2023/24 season that kicks off in August.
