SC Villa have agreed terms with former Express FC custodian Mathias Muwanga.
According to Kawowo Sports, Muwanga will next season feature for the 16 time Uganda Premier league champions after agreeing terms.
Muwanga has been a free agent after terminating his employment contract at Onduparaka FC in January this year.
At SC Villa, he is expected to boost their goalkeeping departmet that last season had Martin Elungat and Meddie Kibirige.
He has previously featured for Sadolin Paints, URA FC, Express FC and Onduparaka FC.
Muwanga has twice been named the goalkeeper of the season (2016 while at Sadolin and during the 2020/21 season with Express).
During the 2020/21 season, he managed 13 clean sheets as the Red Eagles clinched the league title that campaign.
SC Villa finished third on the Uganda Premier league table last term with 52 points.
