Ethiopian and Lithuanian sides are interested in signing KCCA FC defender Geoffrey Wasswa.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that unidentified clubs from both Ethiopia and Lithuanian are courting Wasswa’s signature.
The defender is currently a free agent following expiration of his employment contract at KCCA FC.
Sources also reveal that the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions are also negotiating with the player’s representatives to renew his contract.
Wasswa featured for the Uganda Cranes at the 2023 CHAN tournament and was one of the outstanding players for KCCA FC last season.
He joined the Kasasiro boys at the start of the 2021/22 season as a free agent after expiration of his short term contract at SC Villa. He also previously featured for Vipers SC and won the 2017/18 league title.
