Uganda Premier league side URA FC have completed the signing of midfieder Ibrahim Wammanah.
The combative midfielder joins the Tax collectors on a two year employment contract from UPDF FC.
He also featured for Proline FC between 2018-2020, winning the FUFA Big League, Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Wammanah started his UPL career at KCCA FC from St Julian SS Gayaza in 2016.
“It’s a big privilege to join URA FC because it’s a big team and when such opportunity comes you have to take it up.”
“It’s a very big move to me in my career because it will help me as a player to develop. I want to help the club win silverware in my first season and compete which I am sure with the quality of players around we shall realise it”. Wammanah said as quoted by the club website
He becomes the sixth signing at the club after teenagers Kisiriko Denis Luzige, Kisolo John Innocent, Amis Bwangani and Godfrey Sekibengo as well as the versatile Aliro Moses Okabo.
The club has also agreed terms with Busoga United attacker Laban Tibita and Wakiso Giants striker Shariph Kimbowa.
