Asaph Mwebaze has revealed that he is still waiting for his official contract termination letter from Soltilo Bright Stars.
While appearing on NBS Sport, Mwebaze said that his empoyers verbally relieved him of his duties without any valid reasons.
“I am waiting for the official letter just like when I was appointed. So even when you are dismissed you are given another one. It was just a verbal communication with the club chairman Grace Kwizera. If your are told you are relieved that shows you are no longer the head coach. I am yet to know the reasons why I have been sacked and maybe I will know them when I receive the official letter.”

The tactician was appointed Bright Stars head coach at the start of last season replacing Paul Kiwanuka.
Mwebaze is a CAF B coaching license holder and has previously managed at Maroons and Onduparaka FC both in the Uganda Premier league.
Last season, he guided Bright Stars to the Stanbic Uganda Cup Semi-Finals before losing to eventual winners Vipers SC. In the league, they finished 9th with 35 points.
