Lugazi FC have completed the signing of midfielder Musa Ssali on a two year contract, Swift Sports understands.
Ssali joins from relegated side Buhimba United Saints where he spent the closing half of the previous season.
He featured in nine games as Buhimba United Saints eventually succumbed to relegation.
Ssali rose to the scene through the Kitende ranks and made his Uganda Premier League debut with Vipers during the 2020/21 season.
He left Vipers at the start of the 2023/24 season season and played for Arua Hill before joining Express FC in the second round of that season.
He played for Mbale Heroes during the 2024/25 season and subsequently joined Buhimba United early this year.
He is expected to add options in the Lugazi midfield heading into the forthcoming 2026/27 season.
Lugazi have so far signed Jamaldin Buchochera, Christopher Birungi, Louis Anguti Amagu and Frank Mulimi.
Richard Ayiko and Moses Buga have signed new contracts while Alfred Leku, Freedom Mungudit and Yusuf Sharif Saaka have left the club.
Lugazi will be under the tutelage of Abbey Bogere Kikomeko with Bastu Ssemuyaba as his immediate assistant.
