URA FC have confirmed the signing of striker Shariph Kimbowa from Wakiso Giants.
As earlier reported by this website, Kimbowa joins the tax collectors as a free agent on a two year employment contract.
Kimbowa spent the previous two seasons at Wakiso Giants whom he joined from Busoga United.
He joins his former teammates at Wakiso Giants who are Moses Aliro, Joshua Lubwama Letti and goalkeeping coach Swaibu Ssebagala.
Meanwhile, Kimbowa becomes the eleventh signing at URA in the current transfer window after Kisiriko Denis Luzige, Kisolo John Innocent, Amis Bwangani, Godfrey Sekibengo, Aliro Moses Okabo, Ibrahim Wammanah, Denis Otim, Norman Namanya, Enock Walusimbi and Rogers Omedwa.
The tax collectors also confirmed eleven departures in George Senkaaba (released) Paul Patrick Mbowa (contract expiry) Patrick Matovu (released) Benjamin Nyakoojo (released) Yusuf Wasswa (released) Hannington Ssebwalunyo (contract expiry) Kabon Living (contract expiry) Kokas Alou (released), Micheal Lubowa (released), Salim Abdallah (released) and Ronald Dickson Kigongo.
