UPL Side UPDF FC have officially unveiled striker Samuel Ssekamatte Kayongo as their fourth new signing.
Ssekamate joins the Army side as a free agent on a two years employment contract.
Ssekamatte has previously played for KCCA FC, Soltilo Bright Stars, Arua Hill SC, BUL FC and Zambian side Red Arrows.
UPDF has so far unveiled Asaph Ssegujja from Kampala Regional League side Mbogo United FC and Emmanuel Ochen from FUFA Big League side Calvary FC.
The third new signing is Daniel Kitara from Northern Regional League side Pajule Lions.
The Army side is building a strong squad that will help them perform better in the upcoming UPL season.
Their 2024/25 UPL opener will be against Vipers SC at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende on Saturday 15th-September 2024.
