SC Villa have agreed personal terms with KCCA FC striker Charles Lwanga alias Neymar.
Lwanga recently agreed to terminate his employment contract at KCCA FC with a year remaining.
This website understands that Lwanga is expected to complete his return to SC Villa before the end of this week.
Lwanga and his representatives have been in negotiations with the record Uganda Premier league champions for a couple of days.
Lwanga prematurely left SC Villa at the start of the 2020/21 campaign for KCCA FC. This was after a ruling by FUFA’s player status committee against SC Villa who had not cleared his sign-on fees and monthly salaries.
Lwanga managed to score 33 goals in 35 games for their Villa Junior team before he was promoted to the Club’s senior team.
At the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions, all has not been roses since Lwanga has struggled for playing time.
Lwanga is former St.Mary’s Secondary School Kitende student and was a key pillar for the School as they won both the Copa Coca-Cola and the boy’s football title at Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Association (FEASSSA) games in 2019.
SC Villa have already signed Denis Ojara, Charles Batibwe, Diego Ssemugera, Simon Mukisa and Abasi Kyeyune.
Under the stewardship of Dusan Stojanovic, the Jogoos will on Thursday, 2nd August have a friendly game with new league entrants NEC FC at Bugolobi.
On Monday, 7th August, SC Villa will be seeking for a place in the FUFA Super 8 Pre-season tournament when they welcome Maroons FC at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
