Seven time Uganda Premier league champions Express FC are interested in signing SC Villa midfieder Ivan Sserubiri.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Sserubiri is yet to return to SC Villa training.
The Red Eagles have already held talks with Sserubiri’s representatives for the possible transfer.
The combative midfieder has a year left on his employment contract at SC Villa.
He joined the 16 time Uganda Premier league champions at the start of last year as a free agent following expiration of his contract at URA FC.
Sserubiri has previously featured for Buddu in the prestigious Masaza Cup competition winning the 2016 edition and was also named as the Most Valuable Player of the competition that same year.
He also played for five time Masaza Cup winners Gomba as well as Buganda Regional League side Free Stars FC.
Express FC have already signed Seif Batte, Isaac Wagoina, Brian Majwega, Emmanuel Wasswa, Andrew Kawooya and Martin Ssenkooto.
