Buganda Province completed a double against Bunyoro Province after a 2-0 victory as Teso and Acholi played to a one all draw in the FUFA Drum games that were played on Saturday.
John Wesley Kisakye and super substitute Ronald Ssempala were on target as Buganda Province was completing a double over Bunyoro Province
Kisakye scored in the 37th minute of the game before Ssempala sealing it off for the innagural winners Buganda in the second stanza.
Ssempala came in for Frank Kalule who was stretched off after sustaining an injury
Victory took Buganda to six points and progressed to the next round.
Bunyoro remain bottom placed with only one point from three group stage games
Bunyoro will visit second placed Tooro with four points next as Buganda also waits to host the same opponent
Buganda’s midfielder Amuli Mukasa was named man of the match for his out standing performance.
In the other game of the day Teso and Acholi played to a one all draw
Solomon Okwalinga and Dominic Ayella scored for Teso and Acholi respectively
Action resumes today Sunday 6th August with two more games
