URA FC have completed the signing of Busoga United attacker Laban Tibita.
Tibita joins the tax collectors on a two year employment contract as earlier reported by this website.
“I am happy to be here and I want to make my time count. I want to help the club win trophies. URA FC is a big club and totally different from my previous club but I am ready to serve.” He told the club website
Last season, Tibita was instrumental in helping Busoga United overcome relegation.
His outstanding performances saw him scoop the Pilsner UPL Midfielder of the season he had seven goals, four assists and five player of the match awards in league last season.
Tibita has also previously featured for Maroons FC and is a former student of Kawempe Muslim Secondary School and previously played for Edgar’s Youth in the Kampala Regional League.
He joins Enock Walusimbi, Kisiriko Denis Luzige, Kisolo John Innocent, Amis Bwangani, Godfrey Sekibengo, Aliro Moses Okabo, Ibrahim Wammanah, Denis Otim, Norman Namanya and Rogers Omedwa.
URA FC also part ways with eleven who are George Senkaaba (released) Paul Patrick Mbowa (contract expiry) Patrick Matovu (released) Benjamin Nyakoojo (released) Yusuf Wasswa (released) Hannington Ssebwalunyo (contract expiry) Kabon Living (contract expiry) Kokas Alou (released), Micheal Lubowa (released), Salim Abdallah (released) and Ronald Dickson Kigongo.
