Mbarara City have announced the signing of attacker Henry Kayondo as their latest signing from Kitara FC.
The development was confirmed by the Ankole Lions on Wednesday via their social media platforms
“Mbarara City Football Club are delighted to announce that Kayondo Henry has joined the Ankole Lions on a one year deal from Kitara FC.” Read a brief statement
Kayondo joins as new recruits at Mbarara City who are Yunus Sibira, Joseph Akandwanaho, Pius Kaggwa and defender Magumda Bakali.
Mbarara City returned to the topflight after finishing second in the Big League last season under the stewardship of Sadiq Sempigi.
The club however part ways with Sempigi and appointed former SC Villa, Express FC and Gaddafi FC coach Wasswa Bbosa as their new head coach.
