Midfielder Ibrahim Tembo has confirmed his departure at Uganda Premier league side NEC FC.
The defensive midfielder announced his departure on his social media platforms on Monday morning

My two year journey at the club has come to an end, it wasn’t easy but Allah has been on our side. Wishing the team all the best.” Read a statement from Tembo
Tembo joined NEC FC at the start of the 2023/24 season on a two year employment contract. He has had a stint at Vipers, UPDF FC, Arua Hill and Mbarara City.
During his time at the club, he has helped NEC FC finish as runners up in the Stanbic Uganda Cup (2024) as well as a second place league finish in the just concluded season.
NEC FC are also likely to lose Enock Ssebaggala who is also out of contract with double champions Vipers SC expressing their interest in his signature.
