Former Express striker Erick Kenzo Kambale is set to complete a move to Egyptian Premier League side Ceremica Cleopatra FC.
Kambale will put pen to paper on a three year contract from Sudan’s El Merriekh where he has spent one season.
As per reports, both sides have agreed on a transfer and Kambale has been excluded from El Merriekh’s squad registered to play in next season’s CAF Champions League.
The Congolese born striker joined El Merriekh at the start of last season from Express FC on a two year deal.
He played five games for El Merriekh and scored two goals against Al Ahli Tripoli of Libya and Djibouti’s Arta Solar 7 both in the qualification rounds.
He previously featured for Dauphin Nior in DR Congo before he crossed borders to feature for Express in 2018.
He helped Express win the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League title as well as the CECAFA Club Cup in Tanzania.
Ceremica Cleopatra is a club based in Giza and owned by the Cleopatra Group founded by Mohamed M. Abou El Enein.
The club was formed in 2007. They finished 13th on the league table last season with 37 points from 34 points.
