BUGANDA REGIONAL LEAGUE: Ntungasaze edge UWA to set up promotion playoff final against Proline

St. Noa Girls Zana and Ntungasaze FC were crowned champions of the Buganda Women League and Buganda Regional League respectively at Lugazi FC Stadium on Sunday 9th-June.

Ernest Ankunda and Ronald Kaye were on target as Ntungasaze FC were defeating Simba FC 2-0 to be crowned champions of the Buganda Regional League.

Ernest Ankunda of Ntungasaze FC was the top scorer with 22 goals while teammate Julius Ssenyonjo was named the best goal keeper.

Ntungasaze FC recieved a trophy and two million Uganda Shillings in prize money.

They will face off with Proline FC the Kampala Regional League champions in a two legged final where the aggregate winner will be promoted to the FUFA Big League.

Sylvia Kabene scored a hat trick in St.Noa’s 5-2 victory against Golden Impact Women SC.

The other two goals for St. Noa were scored by Faith Nalwadda and Faith Nalwadda.

Victoria Namakula and Habiba Namagambo were the goal scorers for Golden Impact Women SC.

St.Noa Girls Zana were awarded with a trophy and one million Uganda Shillings.
