Kitara FC have expressed their interest in signing offensive midfielder Titus Sematimba, according to FUFA TV’s Sportlight Show.

Sematimba is currently a free agent after his employment contract with Wakiso Giants expired.

Sematimba spent the closing half of the previous season at UAE club Al Dahra on loan from the Purple Sharks.

Kitara have launched their bid and are hoping to sign Sematimba to add creativity in their offensive department ahead of the 2024/25 season.

The crafty midfielder has also been a transfer target for Vipers SC but no compromise was reached between the Venoms and his representatives.

He has been among the top performing offensive midfielders in the league since his joining Wakiso Giants from Black Star Masanafu in 2021.

He has played for Uganda’s U20 Team, the CHAN Team but also has two caps with the senior team The Cranes.

Kitara are also working around the clock to extend Frank Zaga Tumwesigye’s contract while Paul Mucureezi has already announced departure from the club.

The Stanbic Uganda Cup winners have so far unveiled defender Ronald Otti while this website has reported that the club has agreed terms with Fred Amaku from Maroons FC.
