Ten foreign based players join Cranes camp in Gaborone for World Cup Qualifiers

Ten foreign based players have joined the Uganda Cranes camp in Gaborone in preparation for the final Group G World Cup qualifier matches against Botswana and Algeria.

Bobosi Byaruhanga, Nafian Alionzi, Kenneth Semakula, Captain Khalid Aucho, Steven Mukwala and Toby Sibbick, Jordan Obita, Uche Ikpeazu Mubiru, Elio Capradosi and Abdu Aziizi Kayondo are the foreign based players in camp with the res of the players are expected to join camp in the evening.

Allan Okello, Hillary Mukundane, Rogers Torach, Enock Ssebagala, Gavin Kizito Mugweri, Herbert Achayi are the local based players in camp.

Uganda will lock horns with Botswana on Thursday, 9th October in Francistown before taking on Algeria on Tuesday, 14th October at Hocine Ait Ahmed Stadium.

Uganda is still in contention for a dream World Cup slot and needs to win both games to keep their hopes alive.

For Algeria who top the Group with 19 points and four ahead of second placed Uganda need just one win to prevail to the World Cup due in USA, Mexico and Canada next year.
