Free agent Uganda Cranes striker Derrick Nsibambi is set to join Kenya Premier League side Bandari FC.

Nsibambi is currently unattached to any club after leaving Al Bashaer Club in Oman at the end of last season.

The former KCCA striker was in talks with SC Villa about a fortnight ago but failed to reach a compromise with the Jogoos and opted to consider his options elsewhere.

Nsibambi is currently training with Bandari FC in Kenya ahead of a possible move to the Mombasa based side.

For starters, Bandari is home to the Ugandan trio of William Wadri, Umaru Kasumba and defender Edward Saturo.

Bandari will be seeking to challenge for next season’s Kenya Premier League title and Nsibambi could prove a decent signing for them.

Nsibambi has formerly had a stint in Egypt with Smouha SC and played for URA FC in the opening half of last season.
