The Libyan side preserved their first leg slim win and played out a goalless draw to set up a date with KCCA FC.

KCCA received a bye from the first round following their most recent performances in the CAF Interclub competitions.

Abu Salem is a team based in Tripoli, Libya and was formed 47 years ago but had their first season in the topflight in the 2018/19 season.

The club qualified for this season’s CAF Confederation Cup after finishing fourth in the Libyan Premier League last season.

Abu Salem will host the first leg against KCCA in about 20 days from now while KCCA will host the second leg at Kitende between 29th – 1st September.
