Uganda Cranes defender Gavin Kizito Mugweri has returned Uganda Premier league Giants SC Villa.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Kizito has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the 16 time Uganda Premier league champions.
He re-joins SC Villa as a free agent after his contract at Egyptian side Al-Ittihad Alexandria was terminated in July this year.
The defender left SC Villa in 2022 and joined the Egyptian outfit on a two year contract but his move only lasted for months.
He is expected to fill the void left by SC Villa’s former captain Gift Fred who joined Tanzanian side Yanga.
Kizito has featured for the senior men’s national team the Uganda Cranes in AFCON 2023 Qualification games. He rose through the ranks from the U-17, U-20 and U-23 set ups.
