Mike Sulaiman Mutyaba has brought an abrupt end to his role as Buddu Ssaza team assistant coach.
It comes just hours after his team booked a place in the quarter finals of this year’s tournament.
“I have resigned from my job as the assistant coach at Buddu. I would like to thank the management for the time I have been with the team and wish them well in their next games.”
The former KCCA FC and Vipers SC player told this website.

Mutyaba has been working as Simon Peter Mugerwa’s assistant at Buddu in this year’s Masaza Cup tournament.
Buddu prevailed to the Quarterfinal stage after their 2-1 win over Buluuli in the final game of the group phase on Sunday.
They will now face off with Kyaddondo in the Quarterfinal first leg contest slated for Sunday, 17th September in Gayaza.
In the other games, Gomba will entertain Ssingo while Buvuma will battle Mawokota.
Bulemeezi will take on Buwekula in the other Quarterfinal.
