Mbarara City FC will host their home games at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara after being cleared by the licensing committee.
It was earlier communicated that Mbarara City were to host their home games from Bombo Barracks Grounds since Kakyeka Stadium had not yet been approved.
A brief statement shared on the club’s official social media platforms revealed that,
“Finally we are back home.
See you at Kakyeka on Friday as we welcome NEC FC”
Henry Kayondo, Innocent Wafula, Bakali Magumba, Pius Kaggwa, Yunus Sibira and Joseph Akandwanaho are the new signing that joined Mbarara City.
The team will be under the stewardship of Wasswa Bbosa who took over from Sadick Ssempigi.
The will play debuntants NEC FC in their 2023/24 league opener on Friday 15th September at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.
