Kyadondo Ssaza team have threatened not to travel for their second leg game over Buddu on Sunday, 24th September at Masaka Recreation ground.

Buddu prevailed 2-1 in the first leg of their Quarterfinal last weekend at Hormisdallen playgrounds.

With Buddu leading 2-1 in the 88th minute, Kyadondo players attacked the centre referee after cancelling what could have been their equaliser for the 2008 Champions.

Kyadondo fans stormed the pitch and chased the referees blaming them for their wrong decision.

Police intervened and used tear gas to disperse the hungry fans.

Following the incidents Kyadondo have petitioned to the Masaza Cup organizing committee over poor refereeing.

In the letter from Kyadondo management Committee General Secretary David Kalibbala, the 2008 competition champions say that standards of match officials who handled the first leg was very bad.

The match was handled by officials led by center referee Duula Joshua, assistants Mutoni Jane and Kasaado Kennedy with Komakech Charles as the fourth official.

Kyadondo have called upon the organizing committee to look into the matter if not they will withdraw from taking part in the second leg due on Sunday.
