Uganda Premier league side BUL FC have agreed terms with Lugazi FC striker Gerald Ogweti.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that the Lugazi FC striker will sign a two year employment contract with the Jinja based side.
Ogweti was a key pillar for Lugazi FC as they gained Big League promotion in 2021/22 season.
In the same season, he managed to finish as the Buganda Regional league top scorer with 16 goals.
During the just concluded 2022/23 Big League campaign, he scored 18 goals for Lugazi as they finished 5th on the log with 44 points.
Ogweti has also previously featured for Lugazi Municipal FC where he joined Lugazi FC.
He is also a former player at Kyaggwe and Busiro in the prestigious Buganda Kingdom Masaza Cup tournament.
Meanwhile, BUL has also agreed terms with Vipers SC forward Lawrence Tezikya and Gaddafi FC goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa.
Last season, under the stewardship of interim coach Simone Masaba they finished in 7th place on the Uganda Premier league table with 36 points.
