Six time Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC are set to complete the signing right back James Begisa Penza.
Begisa is expected to Vipers SC as a free agent following the expiration of his employment contract at URA FC.
Vipers SC are set to part ways with right back Ashiraf Mandela whose contract expired at the end of the 2023/24 season and are in the market to fill the position.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Begisa will put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the Kitende based side.
Besides URA FC, Begisa has previously featured for UPDF FC.
Vipers SC are also close to signing former SC Villa and URA FC left back Derrick Ndahiro.
Last season, the Venoms finished third on the Uganda Premier league table with 56 points as they were dethroned by SC Villa to the title.
