Mugerwa’s Police FC target perfect start against debutants Young Elephants

Police FC will start the 2023/24 FUFA Big League season by hosting debutants Young Elephant FC at Kavumba Recreation grounds on Monday 25th September.

The Cops have been so busy in the recently concluded transfer window.

They have managed to acquire Duncan Sseninde, Gabriel Elagu, Edmond Robert Otim, Edward Kasibante, Raymond Onyai, Ivan Eyam, Steven Kabuye, Edgar Tukahirwa, Allan Bukenya, Isaac Ogwang, Ahmed Amayo, Brian Obedi, Daniel Otto and Augustine Kacancu.

The team have a new technical team with Simon Peter Mugerwa as the head coach assisted by Robert Sekweyama and former Uganda Cranes left back Nestroy Kizito as the first and second assistants respectively.

Ssekweyama anticipates victory banking on a fully fit squad and home advantage,

“We have done proper preparations and we are good to go hoping for a positive result.”

“It is full house on our side and with home advantage we expect positive results from this encounter.”

Police FC narrowly missed bouncing back to the top flight after finishing last season in the fourth position
