Buganda Regional league side Lyantonde FC have unveiled their squad and kit for 2023/24 season.
The chairman Umaru Nyanzi targets topflight division football in the forthcoming seasons
“My aim is to get Lyantonde as a football club to aim higher, be in the topflight division in the near future. So the aim for me to return home has been entirely my passion. Nothing has triggered me and no political ambition just the love for football.”
“I am here to make sure that the talents we have here in Lyantonde are seen on the international scene.” Said Nyanzi
The team is under the stewardship of Hakim Nsibambi with Godfrey Katerega and Alex Mubiru as the first and second assistants.
In the upcoming Buganda Regional league season, Lyantonde are in Katonga Group.
