The old boys Mbarara High School dubbed Chaapa will participate through their various teams including a ladies team Holistic FC.
The league is played every Sunday at the NEC grounds in Bugoloobi with 16 teams grouped into four.
While addressing the press, league President Mr. Jacob Keje highlighted the main objective of the program being bringing together former students of the famous school to create a network of opportunities with industry leaders and professionals.
” The grand finale of Chaapa league season 8 will showcase the pinnacle of creativity, excellence and achievement with various partnerships such as Guiness, Volta Arena, Rambura Safaris, Housing finance Bank, Spotom, Acetic aamong others”
He added.
He also revealed that there will be live performances from yet to be announced artists.
Exceptional individual performances will also be recognized with respective awards.
Some of the notable participating teams include Yobo Yobo, Dynamos, Rugabo FC, Matu Athletic, Tibs, Bulls 96, X Convicts, Amada Live, Club 95, Chogm, Chwezi FC, Dingiswayo, Msamiati, Butamamya FC, See far and Hezibola FC.
