The organisers of the Fortebet Real Stars monthly awards have announced the winners from five sports disciplines for the month of September.
The winners came from Football, Badminton, Kabaddi, Rugby and Ludo and were awarded at Lazio Restaurant in Kololo on Tuesday.

Gomba Ssaza and Wakiso Giants striker Kenneth Kimera was named the best footballer of September.

Kimera scored three goals in the Buganda Masaza Cup and netted once for Wakiso Giants in the previous month. He beat Denis Omedi (Kitara) and George Masembe to the accolade.
Husinah Kobugabe clinched the Badminton gong after he success at the two continental championships in Benin and Cameroon.
She managed to win a gold (double with Mbabazi in Benin), silver (double with Mbabazi in Cameroon) and a bronze medal (singles in Benin).
Kobugabe edged Brian Kasirye and Gladys Mbabazi to the September gong.

Olivia Nalubega, a student at Kyadondo S.S was outstanding ahead of Mubaraka Wandeka and Jovita Lubanga in Kabaddi Sport.

Isaac Massangazira scooped the Rugby gong ahead of Aaron Ofoyrwoth and Adrian Kasito.

Massangazira helped Uganda Rugby 7’s win bronze in Zimbabwe as they cruised to the Repechage for the Olympics Qualifiers.
In Ludo, Emmanuel Mubiru edged his national teammates Betty Nagadya and Henry Mayanja to the accolade.

Mubiru played a pivotal role in Uganda’s title defence of the Africa Ludo Championship in Durban city, South Africa.
He was also named as the Most Valuable Player in the tournament.
