Express FC will face Kenya Premier League side AFC Leopards in an international friendly game next week, Swift Sports understands.
The friendly game will be played on Friday 16th under the floodlights of the refurbished Nakivubo Stadium.
The game will be played in line with Express’ preparations for the upcoming season but also to usher the club into Nakivubo which will serve as their new homeground.
Express have embarked on new beginnings after leaving Wankulukuku Stadium which was their recognized home for the past 33 years.
The Red Eagles also lost close to 10 players from their squad but have seen embarked on signing new players as replacements.
Emmanuel Alex Wasswa from KCCA and defender Derrick Ngoobi from Sofapaka FC are some of the new signings at the club.
Their opponents AFC Leopards will automatically become the third Kenyan club to play against Ugandan clubs in Uganda in pre-season friendlies.
Kenya Police played against Vipers on the inaugural Vipers Day while Tusker beat Soltilo Bright Stars 1-0 and will subsequently face Kitara and Lugazi FC this week.
