Mutombora completes move to Tanzania’s KMC

Goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora has joined Tanzania Premier League side Kinandoni Municipal Council (KMC) FC.

The custodian has spent the last six years at Vipers and now joins KMC as a free agent following the expiration of his employment contract at Kitende.

KCCA FC and Kenya Premier League side AFC Leopards were the other sides that were interested in Mutombora’s signature but he has decided to join KMC as earlier reported by this website.

Mutombora joined Vipers in 2018 having previously featured for Burundian side Lydia Ludic Academic.

During his time at Vipers, Mutombora has won three league titles and two Stanbic Uganda Cup trophies.

Mutombora’s new side Kinondoni Municipal Council (KMC) FC is based in Kinondoni District in Dar es Salaam region and host league games at the Uhuru Stadium.

KMC FC finished 5th on the league table behind Costal Union, Simba SC, Azam FC and the eventual champions Yanga SC.
