Former SC Villa head coach Flores in line for vacant South Sudan job

Former SC Villa head coach Antonio Flores is one of the candidates in line for the vacant South Sudan National Football team head coaching role.

As per Kawowo Sport, Flores is considering the South Sudan National Football team coaching role in a move that will see him return to the African continent.

The South Sudan head coaching role became vacant following the departure of Stefano Cusin.

Following Stefano’s departure, the South Sudan Football Association began the search for a new head coach with the application process that started on 2nd to 6th October, 2023.

Flores is a former SC Villa tactician and is currently serving as the technical director at Venezuela Premier league side Yaracuyanos.

In Uganda he also served as Nyamityobora FC technical director. Flores also coached Sarl Star FC Algerie, Lesotho’s Sandawana and Spanish fifth division side CD Dofer Dalias.
