2023 Masaza Cup Final: Gomba Vs Bulemeezi

The Minister for Youth, Sports and Arts in Buganda Kingdom Salongo Robert Sserwanga has confirmed the date and venue for the 2023 Masaza Cup Final.
This year’s final will be contested between record winners Gomba and Bulemeezi at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku on 28th October, 2023.
“I am glad to announce to you that the final of this year’s Masaza Cup will be held on 28th October at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku. I thank all the teams that have participated in the tournament from the group stages up to the final stage.”

On the same day, Mawokota and Buddu will battle for the third place playoff.
Gomba beat Buddu 3-1 on aggregate to reach their 9th final while Bulemeezi overcame Mawokota Ssaza on 4-2 on penalties to prevail to their fourth final of the prestigious competition.
Gomba are previous winners in 2004, 2009, 2014, 2017 and 2020 while Bulemeezi have won the event twice in 2012 and 2019.
